1. Pet Requirements: Client represents and warrants that pet(s) are currently vaccinated and licensed in accordance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations. Proof may be required if participating in walks with multiple dogs, on an Adventure Hike, or if visiting a dog park.
In the case that Client's pet(s) is diagnosed with a transmittable disease or pest such as, but not limited to, fleas, kennel cough, canine influenza, and parvo, Client must immediately inform Owner and services will be suspended until pet is no longer contagious.
Client is responsible for supplying the necessary equipment and supplies needed for the care of their pet(s) including, but not limited to: a well-fit harness or collar, leash, identification tags, pet food, medications, cat litter, and cleaning supplies. Client authorizes any purchase necessary for the satisfactory performance of duties. Costs of all purchases and related service fees will be reimbursed to Paws for Adventure LLC within 14 days.
2. Paws for Adventure LLC will follow the directions of the Emergency Veterinary Release Form in the case a pet should become injured or sick. Please complete the Emergency Veterinary Release Form before the first service date.
3. Keys & Entry: Please complete the Key Handling Form before the first service date. Client authorizes Owner to enter the Premises to perform services. Client will provide Owner with working keys for the Premises prior to the start of services. Keys are to be given to Owner directly, during the scheduled Meet & Greet, or at another specified time prior to the start of services, to be kept until the end of services, or to be placed on file per Client request.
Client expressly gives Paws for Adventure LLC the authority to employ a locksmith on their behalf and reimburse Paws for Adventure LLC within 14 days for all costs incurred in the event of a lock, keys, or automatic door opener malfunction.
4. Off-Leash: Due to liability reasons, Leash Laws, and local ordinances, Clients pet(s) will never be let off leash for any reason, except for a medical emergency or if in a secured fenced area such as a dog park or Client’s fenced yard.
5. Payment Policy: Client agrees to pay all charges accrued for services rendered. Client understands that payment is due at or prior to the time of the commencement of services unless explicitly agreed upon supplementary payment terms. If payment is not made by the agreed upon supplementary payment terms, prior to time of service, or at time of service, service will not be performed. If payment is not made, a cancellation fee of 100% of the scheduled service will be applied for this service.
Accepted payment forms: Credit/Debit card, Venmo, Cash, and Check. Client will incur a $20 charge for each returned check in addition to any and all bank fees attributed to the returned check.
6. Cancellation Policy: All Services (Non-Holiday): Paws for Adventure LLC will charge a cancellation fee of 100% of the scheduled service when services are canceled with less than 24 hours' notice prior to the scheduled service.
Pet Sitting Service (Non-Holiday): Paws for Adventure LLC will charge a cancellation fee of 50% of a scheduled Pet Sitting service when services are canceled with less than 72 hours' notice prior to the scheduled Pet Sitting Service. Paws for Adventure LLC will charge a cancellation fee of 100% of the scheduled Pet Sitting service when services are canceled with less than 24 hours' notice prior to the scheduled Pet Sitting service.
All Holiday Services: Paws for Adventure LLC will charge a cancellation fee of 50% of the scheduled service when services are canceled with less than 5 days notice prior to the scheduled service. Paws for Adventure LLC will charge a cancellation fee of 100% of the scheduled service when services are canceled with less than 48 hours' notice prior to the scheduled service.
